What is MadShare?

MadShare is a file hosting site where you can download files and upload your files to easily send and share with others.

Is MadShare free?

MadShare is free to use for all, but there are some limits to the free service, such as download and uploading limits on file size and the amount of files you can download. All of these limits are removed once you become a premium user, but you are still able to use our site totally free.

Are there any limit to the file size?

If you are a free user, the limit is 300 MB per file. If you become a premium user though, that limit goes up to unlimited, giving you greater flexibility with what you can upload.

How long do you store files?

From the time you upload your file, you have 90 days to download it again. After 90 days of inactivity, it will be deleted. However, every time it is downloaded, the expiration date will be moved to 90 days again. So make sure if you want to keep it up there that you download it every so often to keep it from expiring.

How can I delete uploaded files?

Every upload gets a link to download it and a link to delete it. You can use this delete link at any time to remove your uploaded file from our database.

What is the download limit?

Non-premium users can only download up to 1 file in a day. Premium account users have no limit to the amount of files that they can download.

Our system uses your IP-address to keep track of the number of downloads. If you receive a download limit notice and you haven't downloaded past the limit, it is possible that you are using a proxy server that other people are using to download at the same time. Turning off the proxy server will allow you to download from our site again.

It is much easier to download large data volume with a premium account. For those who frequently download files from our service, this premium account is a must-have, for it provides the highest download priority and bandwidth, thus saving you lots of time. A premim account is fast and easy to manage and downloads files at a faster pace.

How can I download files using a download manager?

Our free users don't have access to a download manager, but our premium users have access to a download manager where you can pause, resume and download multiple files at the same time.

I can’t open a downloaded file.

We are not responsible for the content that you download from our site, as we are a file hosting site, and our users are the ones uploading the files. If your files are password protected or need a codec or special program to run, please alert the person who sent you the link to the file to help you.

Why is my download slow?

There are many free users using our site, which makes the download speeds slower. Our premium users get access to full speed downloads though, limited only by your ISPs download bandwidth!
